The Sri Lanka Ports Authority Deputy Harbour Master at Trincomalee has advised that the following buoys have been removed from their charted positions for repairs:
Elephant Rock green buoy
Approximate charted position: 08 73.8 N, 081 13.7 E
Powder Spit green buoy
Approximate charted position: 08 33.65 N, 081 12.85 E
Eagle Point green buoy
Approximate charted position: 08 32.62 N, 081 12.95 E
Masters calling at the port of Trincomalee are urged to navigate with caution.
