Bulk carrier operations at Tuas Terminal Phase 2 project area

The working period for work at the Tuas Trminal Phase 2 project area has been extended to 20 July.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.09 of 2025, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
MB 1) 1°13.468'N / 103°37.611'E
MB 2) 1°13.467'N / 103°37.783'E
MB 3) 1°13.467'N / 103°37.932'E
MB 4) 1°13.467'N / 103°38.075'E

During this period, bulk carriers, self-propelled barges and pusher tugs with barges in composite unit carrying sand will be transiting the Temasek Fairway to the Tuas Terminal Phase 2 Finger 3 reclamation project area.

A safety tug will be in attendance at all times to warn and redirect craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control);
and
e) Communicate with Keppel Control on VHF Channel 18 for assistance, if required.
