Painting of the suspension spans and towers of the Walt Whitman Bridge is being conducted between 0700 and 1500 hours daily, until 31 March 2018.
A work platform extending 3 feet beneath the lower portion of the bridge will be installed over the entire length of the bridge. The vertical clearance of the bridge will be reduced by 3 feet to approximately 136 feet above MHW.
