A solo swim around Lantau Island will take place from 1400 hours on 20 November 2025 to 1400 hours on 21 November 2025. About 3 swimmers, under the escort of guard boats, are expected to participate in the event.
The swimming will start at 1400 hours at the Disney Pier, then follow a route around Lantau Island in an anti-clockwise direction, and finish in the vicinity of Disney Pier by 1400 hours on the next day.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the swim route should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the swimmers.
Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
