A yacht race will take place around Hong Kong Island on 28 January 2018 (Sunday). About 22 yachts are expected to participate in the race.
The yachts will set off at 1030 hours and 1130 hours off the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in 2 batches, sailing around Hong Kong Island in a clockwise direction, and finish the race off the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter and Kai Tak Cruise Terminal respectively by 1530 hours.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity of the race route should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 is mandatory.
