Anchoring of vessels at Changi East Deposition Area (CEDA)

From 20 November to 20 May 2026, bulk carriers will be anchoring at the break bulking slot ABBL1 at (CEDA).

Sand will be discharged from the bulk carrier using onboard crane and grab systems onto transshipment barges. Transshipment barges will transport the sand to CEDA Stockpile Area within the working area for discharge.

The arrival and departure movements of bulk carriers will take place during daylight hours.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.147 of 2025, the working hours will be 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
1) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
2) Maintain a proper lookout;
3) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
4) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
5) Communicate with Sembawang Control on VHF Channel 21 for assistance, if required.
