Anchoring & diving works at Single Buoy Mooring

From 11 December to 3 January, anchoring and diving works will be carried out at Aster Single Buoy Mooring (SBM).

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.161 of 2025, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & public holidays - at sea, within the working area radius if 500m around the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): 01°11·463'N / 103°47·427'E.

There will be vessel anchoring activities and diving within the work area at SBM Buoy location. A 6 Point anchor barge will be deploying anchors at SBM work area. Surface anchor buoys will mark the anchors’ location. There will be support tugs to assist anchor barge in deploying anchors.

Safety boats will attend all times to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control);
and
e) Communicate with West control for assistance, if required.
