Amendment of LNG reduction

The normal LNG reduction for LNG carriers is amended to 30% reduction from normal canal tolls instead of 25% reduction.

The LNG Circular 07/2017 concerning LNG/C rebate for ships operating between US Gulf Area and Asian ports is amended to:

  • 35% rebate instead of 30% for LNG/C operating between US Gulf area - Arabian Gulf & west Coast of India
  • 55% rebate instead of 50% for LNG/C operating between US Gulf area - East of Kochi port up to west area of Singapore
  • 75% rebate remain (no change) for LNG/C operating between US Gulf area - Singapore Port and its eastern ports

This amendment will be applied for LNG ships that transit the Canal from 1 April to 30 June 2020.
