A triathlon race will take place off the west of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 0700 to 0800 hours on 13 March, 0700 to 1230 hours on 14 March and 0700 to 1600 hours on 15 March. About 23 boats and 780 participants are expected to participate in the race.
During the aforementioned periods, a race area will be formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C) and the adjacent shorelines:
(A) 22° 16.992’N / 114° 10.051’E
(B) 22° 17.150’N / 114° 10.067’E
(C) 22° 17.084’N / 114° 10.346’E
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the race area.
Besides, the landing steps of Wan Chai Bypass Landing No. 1 to No. 4 will be temporarily closed from 0900 hours on 9 March 2026 to 1800 hours on 15 March 2026. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure.
