New GAC Brazil Managers to drive dry bulk and tanker business

Appointments bring new service and expansion to Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, MAY 14, 2012 - GAC Brazil has appointed two new dedicated managers to help sharpen its focus on the dry bulk and tanker sectors, and support the company's expansion.

Rodrigo Kill and Georges Barthel will work from Rio de Janeiro as Dry Bulk Manager and Tanker Manager, respectively, reporting directly to GAC Brazil's Managing Director Rodrigo Demarco. Their appointments represent a further expansion of GAC Brazil's already strong ship agency and freight forwarding service portfolio offered by offices in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

Dry Bulk operations are a new addition to the GAC Brazil range of services, further demonstrating the Group's commitment to growth in Brazil.

Kill brings to his new role more than a decade of experience and expertise managing dry bulk operations (handling commodities such as iron ore, coal, grains, etc.) at the ports of Sao Luis, Vitoria and Rio de Janeiro. He will be responsible for all GAC Brazil's dry bulk related business, maintaining the customer portfolio, expanding business throughout Brazil, and developing new geographic areas for prospective business.

Georges BarthelThe appointment of Georges Barthel as Tanker Manager further increases GAC Brazil's range of services. Barthel has a decade of shipping agency experience, most recently as GAC Brazil's Operations Manager, giving him a solid foundation on which to build the company's tanker services package.

He will be responsible for all tanker matters, as well as growing the revenue stream through new business development strategies.
