Replanting in Panama

They have really been getting down to earth at GAC Panama with their latest conservation project.

Staff and their families recently spent a Sunday morning at Camino de Cruces National Park getting hands-on in a Seedling Rescue initiative.

The first step involved finding small, recently germinated tree seedlings which had taken root in places where they were unlikely to thrive. They were then transplanted to better locations to be tended until big enough to be replanted in reforestation areas. The seedlings rescued and replanted by GAC will be part of the reforestation season starting in June.
