Since its foundation in June 1983, GAC’s operation in the world’s fifth-largest economy have grown year-on-year to now offer comprehensive shipping and logistics support across all the nation’s ports. Growing global role

Ports throughout the country have recognised GAC India for its contribution. In July this year, Dhamra Port hailed it as the steamer agent handling the second highest number of vessels. Haldia Dock Complex recognised GAC for handling the highest number of dry bulk and break-bulk cargo for 2022-2023 after two years in the No.2 spot, as well as by New Mangalore Port for handling the most chemical vessels as agents in 2022-23 - clear indications of the increased support from valued clients. The company was also named ‘Ship Agency of the Year’ at the ShipTek International Maritime Awards 2023 and ‘Best International Cruise Port Agent’ at the Aqua Cruise Awards.
Challenges and goals
