Strikes affecting port operations

Notice of strikes has been given at several French ports, starting from this evening (6 February).

At Fos & Marseille, there will be a strike from 2000 today (6 February) to 2000 on 8 February. Strike at Elengy terminal unknown as yet.

Strike notice has been given at Lavera from 2200 today to 2000 on 8 February. Fluxel terminal strike terms are not yet known.

At Dunkirk, there will be a lock strike from 0600 hours local time on 7 February to 0800 on 9 February. At this stage, petroleum and LNG terminals not impacted.

Notice of a strike has also been given at Le Havre from 0600 on 7 Feb to 0600 on 9 February. The petroleum terminal C.I.M. will be on strike from 0730 to 1530 on 7 February.

At Rouen, strike notice has been given for the period from 00:00 on 7 February to 00.00 on 8 February, while towage staff will strike (to be confirmed) from 10.00 on 7 February to 10.00 on 11 February.

Strike notice has also been given at Port Jerome for the periods from 1000 on 7 February to 1000 on 8 February, and from 1000 on 10 February to 1000 on 11 February.

At Cherborg, notice of a strike has been given from 0001 on 7 February to 0000 on 9 February.

At Saint Malo, towage & moorage workers and crane drivers will strike from 0000 to 2359 on 7 February, and dockers from 0000 on 7 February to 2359 on 8 February.

Port locks keepers at Saint Nazaire will strike from 0000 on 7 February to 2400 on 8 February, followed by port staff for gangway installation/removal from 0500 on 7 February to 0500 on 9 February, and port dockers from 0600 on 7 February to 0600 on 9 February.

At Montoir, port staff for gangway installation/removal will strike from 0500 on 7 February to 0500 on 9 February, followed by dockers’ from 0600 hours local time on 7 February to 0600 on 9 February. At this stage, LNG/C can berth to discharge/load and sail. However, the strike terms at Elengy terminal are not yet known.

At Donges, port staff for gangway installation/removal will strike from 0500 on 7 February to 0500 on 9 February. At this stage, tankers can berth to discharge/load and sail. However, the strike terms at Donges refinery are not yet known.

Strike notice has also been given at Nantes for the period from 0500 on 7 February to 0500 on 9 February.

At Cherborg, strike notice of a strike has been given for 7 & 8 February.

At Bayonne, strike notice has been given for the periods 0000 to 24000 on 7 & 8 February, and there will be a harbour master strike from 0000 to 2400 on 11 February.
