Soil investigation and survey works are being carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - south of Sudong Anchorage and Raffles Shoal Area South of Sudong Anchorage in the TSS West Bound Lane, until 19 May.

Soil investigation works will be carried out using one jack-up barge. Two tugs will be deployed to assist the positioning of the jack-up barge.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control) / VHF Channel 73 (VTIS West); and
e) Communicate with West Control on VHF Channel 68 or with VTIS West on Channel 73 for assistance, if required.
