Revised tariffs

The National Ports Authority of Cameroon has announced revised shipping agent tariffs, in effect from 1 January 2024.

The main revisions relate to demurrage rates, administrative costs for Bills of Lading and agency fees.

The new rates are given below:

DEMURRAGE RATES FOR DRY CONTAINERS (in CFA Francs excluding VAT)
From 12 to 21 days
- 20’ containers: 7092
- 40’ containers: 13 465.2
- 45’ containers: 14 185.2
22 days and over
- 20’ containers: 12 962.4
- 40’ containers: 25 444.8
- 45’ containers: 25 444.8

ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS PER BILL OF LADING (in CFA Francs excluding VAT)
- Import: 40 000
- Export: 40 000

AGENCY FEES (in Euros)
For ships in tramping carrying commercial activities. Maximum applicable discount 20%
- 02 first days: 500
- Additional day(s): 134.6
- Tonnage commission per MT
