Opening Hours of Central Marine Office

The Central Marine Office (“CMO”) will be open from 0900 hours to 1100 hours on 29 June 2019 (Saturday) for processing arrival and port clearance of all vessels. In the event that a black rainstorm warning signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory during the above period, the office will remain open as scheduled. However, if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is issued, the office will be closed immediately.

Further, if any one of the above warnings is issued less than 2 hours before 0900 hours, or has been issued and remains in force after 0700 hours, the arrangements will be as follow:

a) if the warning is cancelled before 1200 hours, the office will be open on the same day from 1400 hours to 1600 hours; and

b) if the warning is cancelled after 1200 hours, the office will be open on 30 June 2019 (Sunday) from 0900 hours to 1100 hours.
