For approximately 26 months, fender piles repair works will be carried out in the following works areas:
WORKS AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (C) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22° 22.395’N 113° 54.991’E
(B) 22° 22.231’N 113° 55.173’E
(C) 22° 22.168’N 113° 55.141’E
WORKS AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (D) to (G) and the adjacent shoreline:
(D) 22° 22.158’N 113° 55.130’E
(E) 22° 22.113’N 113° 55.097’E
(F) 22° 22.327’N 113° 54.858’E
(G) 22° 22.363’N 113° 54.902’E
The works will be carried out by one dumb lighter. One tugboat and one work boat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
A working area of approximately 20 metres around the lighter will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the lighter.
The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1800 hours daily. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works areas outside the hours of work.
Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the works areas at slow speed, bearing in mind that there are divers working in the areas.
