Dockers & port staff strike

Dockers are refusing to perform exceptional shifts or overtime in a week which will also bring the following specific industrial actions:

  • a 4-hour strike movement from 12:00 to 16:00 today (5 February) at Montoir/Saint-Nazaire, and from 11:00 to 15:00 at Nantes;
  • a 24-hour strike movement starting from 0:00 on Wednesday 7 February;
  • a 4-hours strike from 12:00 to 16:00 on 9 February Montoir/Saint-Nazaire, and from 11:00 to 15:00 at Nantes.

This action will affect dockers, crane drivers and Port staff at St Nazaire, Montoir and Nantes.

Meanwhile, there will be port staff strikes for gangway installation/removal at Montoir MLQ and Donges, as follows:

  • a 1-hour strike movement from 14:00 to 15:00 today (5 February);
  • a 2-hour strike movement from 03:00 to 05:00 on 6 February;
  • a 24-hour strike starting from 05:00 on 7 February;
  • a 1-hour strike from 14:00 to 15:00 on 9 February;
  • a 2-hours strike from 03:00 to 05:00 on 10 February.

At this stage, Elengy terminal and Donges refinery are not affected. Donges terminals will be impacted due to port staff strikes (gangways installation/removal).
