17 May 12 - When die-hard Liverpool FC fan Anselm Fernandes entered the GAC Team Pledge Contest earlier this year, he didn't know that he was in for the double treat of watching his heroes play Chelsea at Wembley in this year's FA Cup Final.
Anselm, who is a Hong Kong-based Sales Manager for trading company Ravissant Ltd, was among the 1,347 members of the public who took GAC up on its invitation to enter its Team Pledge contest to win a trip to London, for two people, to see the Final. Participants were asked to answer questions about the Group's 30-second TV commercial which underscores its commitment to deliver the goals.
And although Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-1 in the final, nothing could dampen Anselm's enthusiasm.
"Winning the GAC Team Pledge contest was a dream come true for me and my son Stefan," he says. "The atmosphere at Wembley was buzzing - big thanks to GAC and everyone who helped to organise this memorable trip for us. I hope GAC will keep up the good work in encouraging football and organising this kind of contest. You never know when luck is on your side."
