GAC scoops Lloyd’s List MEISC Logistics Award for third time in four years

Dubai, 30 October 2013: Global shipping, marine and logistics services provider GAC has won the Logistics category in the Middle East & Indian Subcontinent (MEISC) Awards for the third time in four years. Its success in the 2013 Awards repeats the company’s achievement in 2010 and 2011.

Lloyd's List is the leading daily newspaper for the maritime industry covering all sectors of the shipping world including Tankers, Containers, Ports and Dry Bulk. Its MEISC Awards celebrate maritime achievements in the Middle East and South East Asia.

  • GAC Bahrain and GAC Saudi Arabia beating the challenges of limited infrastructure to deliver 212 tonnes of cargo to a deep water rig in Duba, Saudi Arabia;
  • GAC India helping a key client slash delivery cycle times by 40%;
  • GAC Pakistan working with port authorities to facilitate in-port loading for a vessel returning support boats weighing 1500 MT each to China;
  • GAC India seamlessly relocated goods from a remote hill station, accessible only via steep roads, to the UK.
