Aarhus, Denmark – Ian Williams and his GAC Pindar crew finished the Aarhus stage of the M32 Series Scandinavia in first place, pushing them to the top of the Series leaderboard with just one regatta to go.
GAC Pindar secured first place and on the third and final day of the event in first place, after two second places on the previous days. The resulting total score of 52 points put them in the top spot as they prepare for the final date of the five-event Series, in Stockholm, Sweden, on 14-16 September.
Williams says: “I am really pleased with how the team is coming together as we go into the final event in Stockholm. It is nice for GAC Pindar to be leading the series, but with double points on the line the Series is still wide open and we will need to be at the top of our game to be the first team to defend the Title.”
