Prestige watch manufacturer signs two-year sponsorship with sailing team
UK, February 2012 - GAC Pindar has announced a two-year partnership with Swiss watch manufacturer Armin Strom. The Biel-based company will sponsor the sailing team throughout their World Match Racing Tour and Extreme Sailing Series 2012 campaigns and design a limited edition watch to commemorate the deal.
Founded in 2006, Armin Strom is known for its tradition of skeleton hand movement as well as its keen support in mainstream sports such as Formula 1 and professional sailing. A team of Armin Strom's designers is working closely with GAC Pindar to ensure their shared values of innovation, precision and pioneering spirit are incorporated into the blueprint for the new timepiece. The limited edition watch is still under development and will be launched later this year at the height of the sailing season.
