Indonesia – Consumer goods company PT PZ Cussons Indonesia has appointed GAC Samudera Logistics ("GSL") as its third party logistics partner. Under the three-year contract commencing in November 2017, GSL will take care of the storage and distribution of Cussons' products from its 12,000 sqm ambient facility in Surabaya to the eastern part of the country.
Steve Flello, Managing Director of Cussons, says GSL's established track record in Indonesia is one of the reasons it was chosen: "We know that our products and the entire supply chain are in good hands with the various checks and controls that GSL has in place.
"We look forward to forging a long-term strategic alliance with the company."
GSL will handle Cussons' various ranges including body and facial care products, detergents, as well as food items such as baby food.
GSL President Director Hari Krishnan says the company is fully committed to delivering top notch services to meet Cussons’ demand for a safe, secure and uninterrupted supply chain.
