Mauritius – GAC-sponsored golfer George Coetzee secured his second European Tour title of 2015 when he won the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open this weekend.
The South African player claimed the title when he beat Denmark’s Thorbjorn Olesen at the second hole of a play-off at the Heritage Golf Course. Coetzee’s latest triumph sees him move up the world rankings to number 52. If he is still in the Top 60 by the end of this month, he will automatically be invited to the second major of the year, the US Open, at Chambers Bay, Washington on 18-21 June.
