Our round-the-clock support for ship owners, managers and operators to ensure crew signing off or on, have the smoothest, safest and most comfortable transfers possible. Support with visas, travel and associated procedures, all within relevant Covid-19 guidelines, make sure every changeover goes without a hitch. GAC’s innovative solutions to date have resulted in the repatriation of more than 3,000 seafarers by GAC India. GAC UK completed a socially distanced crew transfer in Aberdeen using a modified coach called up from London; GAC Norway completed a crew transfer by using a high-speed RIB (rigid inflatable boat) for crew that had overstayed their time at sea. GAC Denmark uses hotels in neighbouring Sweden to offer preventative quarantine up to 14 days before crew sign on to vessels in Denmark where the same is not currently permitted, meeting crew at Copenhagen airport and driving them over the Oresund bridge to south Sweden.
