Critical crew change, lay-up and dry-docking support in Covid-19 times

Since the implementation of restrictions and border closures to combat the spread of Covid-19, GAC’s crew change expertise has come to the fore. Our round-the-clock support for ship owners, managers and operators to ensure crew signing off or on, have the smoothest, safest and most comfortable transfers possible. Support with visas, travel and associated procedures, all within relevant Covid-19 guidelines, make sure every changeover goes without a hitch. At most locations, we can even help arrange swab tests (some with rapid results), transportation to and from test centres, related documentation and liaison with authorities.

GAC Jordan had the opportunity to handle the crew change for an entire vessel during strict lockdown and under stringent regulations. It took months of planning and coordination with the responsible parties to ensure the successful execution of the sign-on/off operation using a private plane.
