With GAC as your protecting agent, your position is protected during the vessel call. We monitor port operations, review documentation and support clear communication with all parties involved. We keep you informed and help ensure your instructions are followed, even when you’re not on site.

GAC provides protecting agency services to help you stay informed and in control during your vessel’s call at any Argentinian port. When appointed by the owner or operator, we work with the charterer’s agent to observe operations and follow through on matters that affect your responsibilities.

We review port operations and maintain oversight of key milestones. We monitor cargo movements, observe coordination of services such as bunker fuels and ships spares, and review documentation such as Statements of Facts and time sheets. If discrepancies are identified, we notify you and issue letters of protest where appropriate. GAC can also assist with independent surveys and verification requests.

We keep contact with your appointed agent, handle owner’s funds as instructed and provide regular operational updates and supporting documentation, to keep you informed and assist with planning.

GAC’s protecting agency services can be arranged on their own or alongside our ship agency, husbandry or logistics coordination across Argentina.
