Repair works at Bedok Jetty

From 28 November 2022 to 27 May 2023, repair works will be conducted at Bedok Jetty, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 18.500'N / 103° 56.484'E
2 01° 18.317'N / 103° 56.555'E
3 01° 18.302'N / 103° 56.513’E
4 01° 18.476'N / 103° 56.446’E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.079 of 2022 dated 21 November 2022, the working hours will be 24 hours daily including Sundays and public holidays.

The repair works will be carried out by crane and work barges assisted by tugboats.

Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area during the dredging operations.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);
and
e) Communicate with East Control on VHF Channel 12 for assistance, if required.
