GAC Malaysia has the resources, experience and expertise to provide a one stop solution centre for all your lay-up and rig stacking needs. We also provide technical assistance to ship and rig owners in particular in the areas of maintenance and safety of your laid-up ships. Our lay-up package can be customised to any owner's requirements for either hot or cold lay-up and covers customs/immigration clearance, marine services, rig moves, ship care services, storage, logistics and other shipping-related services.
We are registered with the Department of Environment for receiving, storing, and disposing of general waste discharged from vessels /rigs at anchorage or alongside strategic ports. In addition, we are permitted to handle the disposal of oil waste, medical waste and hazardous waste through our approved vendors. We also purchase scrap metal (hard waste) from asset owners for disposal.
All disposals will be accompanied by a full report with pictures and consignment note, meeting compliance requirements.
