Inaugurated in 2007, the GAC Corporate Academy (GCA) delivers a wide range of specialised, competency-based learning using leading-edge technology and evolved learning processes in a GAC-specific context.

GCA courses give GAC people the tools they need to deliver the best possible support to their customers and help boost their business. Personnel throughout the GAC Group, as well as partners and network agents, can choose from a range of core and job-specific courses including areas like business performance, commercial competencies, operations and professional development. Introductory courses, under the New Employee Orientation (NEO) banner, cover vital issues such as Compliance and Ethics, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), General Data Protection and Regulation (GDPR) and Cyber Security. These courses are mandatory for all staff.

e-Learning across borders

GCA courses are delivered via the state-of-the-art interactive online Learning Management System, GAClearn, enabling people across the GAC world to learn together in a virtual classroom.

The GCA’s demand-driven and outcome-oriented courses are constantly updated, to ensure that they remain relevant and directly aligned to our - and your - strategic business objectives. Since the Academy’s foundation, we now have nearly 5000 active users and have accumulated nearly half a million combined training hours across the 85 unique courses offered over the years.
