Mina Al Ahmadi

Mina Al Ahmadi is the principal Kuwaiti port for the export of crude, products and gas. The refinery and port are located 45 kilometers south of Kuwait City on the Arabian Gulf. The main facilities are operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and the SBMs (Single Buoy Mooring) by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The port is an open roadstead and comprises of North Pier, South Pier, New Oil Pier and SBMs. The South Loading Pier is connected to the Refinery whereas the North Loading Pier is located 10 km north of the Refinery.

The New South Pier is the largest and the most advanced marine facility in the Middle East with state-of-the-art technology. It has six berths for the export of Crude oil, LPG and petroleum products.
