Overview
Senegal’s main industries include food processing, mining, cement, artificial fertilizers, chemicals, textiles, refining of imported petroleum and tourism. Its exports include fish, chemicals, cotton, fabrics, groundnuts and calcium phosphate. Its principal foreign market are India, the US, Italy and the UK.
In Senegal, GAC has formed an alliance with leading ship agent GETMA International. GAC-GETMA provides a broad range of professional ship agency and logistics services to vessels calling at the country’s ports.
Founded in 1978, GETMA is present in more than 20 West African countries.
