GAC Lebanon first opened in 1967 in a relatively calm and prosperous economy driven by tourism, agriculture and banking, but was forced to close in mid-1975 as a result of the civil war. We re-opened 16 years later, to provide a full range of ship agency and logistics services at ports and terminals throughout Lebanon.
Our head office in Beirut acts as general point of co-ordination for all our operations in Lebanon, and is backed by Branch Offices in Tripoli (North of Beirut) and Sidon (South of Beirut).
All offices are manned by trained, experienced staff with excellent contacts with the local authorities and the Lebanese trading community. This has enabled us to further build on GAC’s previous experience in Lebanon to provide top quality service to our Principals.
