Overview

The second-largest country in South America, Argentina has abundant natural resources, an export-orientated agricultural sector and a diversified industrial base. Asian nations are significant trading partners – including the Middle East, Asia took more than 20% of Argentinean exports and provided 19.6% of imports. The growing China market represents about half that figure.

In Argentina, GAC-Ultramar Network – a partnership between GAC and the well-established South American ship agency Ultramar Network – provides a broad range of professional ship agency services to all kinds of ships calling at the country’s ports.
